The 2018 build project on Burgdorf Drive in Madison has concluded. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers and our Habitat family for all the hard work. Site clearing took place prior to the heavy snow and cold arrived in 2017 and the weather cooperated as the foundation got started prior to Spring. Over the summer the Habitat volunteer team erected a safe, energy efficient 1200 sq. foot home for a hardworking family. In December the dedication ceremony took place and the family moved right in. Due to early snow and cold the landscaping was put on hold but the volunteer team will finish up the lot in the Spring with help from Russ Lanoie (lawn loam, thank you!) and Eastern Greens (trees/scrubs, thank you!) and a few other small touches.
