This special excursion through Crawford Notch will be hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Washington Valley and by the Mt. Washington Valley Habitat for Humanity. It is a fundraiser to benefit local families and children’s charities supported by the clubs, and the public is warmly invited to participate.
The train departs from our North Conway station at 11:00 a.m. and returns at approximately 4:00 p.m. Included in the excursion is an hour’s layover at Crawford Station, which is across from Saco Lake (a small pond from which the the mighty Saco River originates) and adjacent to the AMC’s Highland Center. Passengers are encouraged to get off the train, stretch their legs, and explore their beautiful surroundings.
Fares: Coach $59.00; First Class $73.00; Upper Dome $85.00. The Upper Dome is sold out; there are a very limited number of F/C seats available. Included in all fares are appetizers, desserts, and a souvenir photo. Passengers have the option of ordering a delicious box lunch prepared by Brandli’s Pizza Pasta Grille for $14.50, bringing their own picnic, or ordering from our snack bar.
SOLD OUT: For those wanting lunch aboard the Railroad’s elegant new, First Class Dining Car The Hattie Evans, our First Class Notch Train package includes First Class seating and a 3-course luncheon, as well as beverage service, appetizers, desserts, and a souvenir photo. The F/C package is $102.00 ($114.00 with seating in the Upper Dome, which is considered Exclusive Seating). Seating is limited, and advance reservations are recommended. SOLD OUT.
